A Dream. . .
Since I was a child I had been exposed to poverty here in the Philippines. . . and Since then, I never stop dreaming of having and giving a better life for me, my family and my community. . . and Now, even though it's just a small step towards the realization of that dream. . . Still, I am happy. . . because, I get to share it all with you. . . and take part of making that DREAM come true.
. . .but, Behind that nightmare of poverty. . . Living in the Philippines is also a sweet DREAM. . . Being known for having home to one of the Worlds Best Biodiversity. . . Beautiful Places of Old and New. . . Pristine Beaches. . . Scenic Spots. . . Best Festivals. . . Old Churches. . . Tastiest Foods. . . Fresh Air on the Barrio's. . . and Nicest People. . . Yes, Having home to one of the World's Nicest People. . .
Slowly becoming a reality. . .
. . .and as I was thinking of ideas and ways of having that Dream fulfilled this idea stood out. . .
Philippines is home to highly skilled craftsmen. . . and from the place I grew-up. . . there are craftsmen and women who are very dedicated and honed to their skills of making different types of crafts, name it. . . they do it. . . bags, baskets, accessories, home furnishing , furnitures, to name a few. . . But since the global financial crisis hit the export industry in the Philippines. . . most, if not all of them retired or stopped from making this beautiful crafts.
. . .but in spite all this, there are still a few who remained, and seeing their masterpieces, gave me the idea and inspired me to create Handmade Crafts Philippines. . . a place where they can showcase their beautiful creations.
DREAM FULFILLED???
Yes, it is still a Big Question. . . a question as to whether or not this dream will come to reality. . .
Please, help us make this dream come true. . . I know this is still a challenge that we have to face and triumph with. . . but i know with our good and honest hearts this Dream surely will do come to true. . .
